Write for Living Health
LIVING HEALTH is an independent editorial publication exploring health as a lived experience.
We believe health extends beyond diagnoses, diets, and fitness routines. It is shaped by the food we eat, the thoughts we cultivate, the places we travel, the relationships we nurture, the environments we inhabit, and the daily choices that influence how we live.
Through our four editorial pillars — Lifestyle, Mind, Food, and Travel — we publish thoughtful stories, personal essays, expert perspectives, interviews, original reporting, and practical insights that help readers explore what it means to live well in a complex world.
We welcome submissions from writers, health professionals, researchers, educators, travelers, chefs, practitioners, and thoughtful individuals with meaningful experiences to share. We are always looking for new voices, fresh perspectives, and stories that help expand the conversation around health, well-being, and human flourishing.
Before submitting, we encourage you to spend some time exploring Living Health to better understand our editorial voice, approach, and areas of interest.
What We’re Looking For
We are particularly interested in stories that:
- Explore the connection between mind, body, lifestyle, food, environment, and travel.
- Offer thoughtful insights rather than simple opinions.
- Share personal experiences that illuminate broader lessons.
- Translate research into practical, accessible understanding.
- Highlight innovative approaches to health, wellness, prevention, longevity, resilience, or quality of life.
- Introduce readers to inspiring people, places, ideas, or practices.
- Encourage curiosity, reflection, and informed discussion.
We value nuance, humility, and intellectual honesty. We are less interested in certainty and more interested in meaningful exploration.
Original Reporting, Features, and Interviews
We welcome original reporting, feature stories, interviews, and investigative pieces related to health, lifestyle, nutrition, mental well-being, environmental health, travel, and related topics.
Whether local, national, or global in scope, the strongest submissions bring readers new insights, compelling perspectives, or stories that have not already been widely told.
What to Send
Please submit a brief pitch (1–3 paragraphs) that includes:
- The story you want to tell.
- Why it matters.
- What makes it unique.
- Your relevant expertise, experience, or access.
- Any reporting, interviews, or research you plan to include.
Links to previously published work are always helpful.
Please do not submit completed feature articles without first receiving approval from our editorial team.
Essays, Commentary, and Personal Stories
Some of our most meaningful articles begin with personal experience.
We welcome reflective essays, commentary, and first-person narratives that explore health, healing, resilience, caregiving, personal growth, travel experiences, food traditions, mental well-being, or lessons learned through lived experience.
The strongest essays offer readers something larger than a personal story alone. They illuminate an idea, challenge an assumption, or invite reflection on how we live.
What to Send
Please submit a brief pitch (1–3 paragraphs) describing:
- The central idea of your article.
- Your connection to the topic.
- Why it would resonate with Living Health readers.
- How your perspective contributes something fresh to the conversation.
Completed drafts may be attached for consideration.
Our Editorial Approach
Living Health is not a platform for sensational claims, political advocacy, product promotion, or fear-based health content.
We seek thoughtful, evidence-informed, and responsibly presented work. Contributors should clearly distinguish between established evidence, emerging research, professional opinion, and personal experience.
If your submission relates to a product, organization, financial interest, or professional affiliation, please disclose that relationship when submitting.
